Our practice is limited to pulmonary internal medicine in adolescent and adult patients. This medical speciality includes the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of lung and respiratory tract disorders such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis, emphysema, pneumonia, pleurisy, tuberculosis and sleep apnea. The doctors are extensively trained in a number of procedures such as fiberoptic bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, thoracentesis and closed pleural needle biopsy. In addition, a large portion of their practice has been devoted to the care of critically ill patients requiring intensive care. The doctors are fully trained and board-certified in internal medicine, the subspecialty of pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine.
