The Utah State Fire Marshal’s office in conjunction with the Utah Department of Public Safety has amended the UT R710 regulation concerning the application of antifreeze in automatic fire sprinkler systems. No automatic fire sprinkler system shall contain antifreeze that exceeds 50% glycerine or 40% propylene glycol. Utah State Fair
Spread the word and encourage your friends and neighbors to go to the Utah State Fair, Saturday afternoon / evening September 11, 2010. Local 669 will be operating their sprinkler burn trailer demonstration at roughly the top and bottom of the hour all day Saturday. The live fire sprinkler side by side burn will happen at 3:00 PM! This is a one-time deal so arrive a few minutes early to make sure you get to witness a very dramatic side by side display of the life saving benefits of residential fire sprinklers.

Access: Fair admission can be purchased on-line at www.utahstatefair.com or at the gate.
On-line tickets are $7.00 (+0.75 processing fee) / adult.

Special note: September 11 is Patriots Day.
Special admission for military and other public service personnel (with ID).
Parking: There is paid parking on-site, lot or street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods, expect to pay if you plan on parking anywhere close.
