The Grace Race is back!

Ascension Lutheran Church and Peak Performance is co-sponsoring the 5th Annual Grace Race 5-K Run and 2 Mile walk to be held on September 18, 2010 at 8am. Our prior races have been very successful in raising funds to benefit various charities. This year, proceeds will be distributed between two charities: St. Anne's Shelter and Your Community Connection (YCC), a domestic violence assistance center and shelter for women and children.

There is an ongoing discussion about the "Best" way to communicate as a community about all that Christ is doing through the ministry and mission that we share together.

Ascension Lutheran Church is turning 50! To celebrate 50 years of mission and ministry, to raise our hears, our hands and our voices to give thanks to God for 50 years of blessings and guidance in all that we as a community of faith have been given the strength and the love to do in Jesus name, we feel called as a church to truly kick our heels up and have a BIG CELEBRATION - A HUGE WEEKEND PARTY! Culminating in a wonderful worship service together.
