Intermountain Environmental Consultants, Inc. (IEC), a recognized small business enterprise, is dedicated to providing full turn-key environmental services to the Rocky Mountain West. Please follow the links to the left for specific details on our services.

We are a consortium of employees from larger environmental firms in the Salt Lake area that have formed under the IEC umbrella to provide our clients with quality environmental services at a cost-effective rate. We keep overhead and business expenses to a minimum and pass the savings on to our clients. Founded in 1988, IEC has been providing quality environmental services for more than a decade. IEC performs work in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Colorado, California, and Arizona.

IEC specializes in servicing the real estate and lending industries in the area of property transfer assessments, including full-scale recognition of potential environmental risks associated with the purchase and/or financing of commercial and residential property. We provide asbestos, lead-based paint, and radon gas investigations, remediation, and project management. Environmental Site Assessments, USTs and ASTs monitoring and removal, geology, subsurface investigations and sampling, remedial system design and installation, health and safety training for OSHA and EPA, and hazardous waste auditing and brokerage.
