11/9/10 • Hamsters, Cats, and Dogs... Oh My!
Students in the BATC Animal Sciences (Vet Assisting) Program and their four-legged friends enjoyed participating in the second annual Animal Halloween Costume Contest. Event participants varied in species and ranged from a hamster dragon to a mini horse gladiator. While submitting to be a cat-in-the-hat, doggie bumble bee, biker dude, or princess may have been the highlight of their day; they clearly loved the extra attention, hugs, and affection.
Costumes were judged by BATC faculty and staff with honors given to:
Adult class: Nicole Heiner with Emma--Luau Kitty
High School: Caitlin Hengge with her Ritz Kitty
Runner up: Jessica Carlson with Boxer Pup
Runner up: Noxzee Setema with Mini Horse Gladiator
