Fall Is Officially Here and at the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake that means preparing for winter and the holidays. We are busy stocking our shelves for our annual Thanksgiving feast. Please consider gving to help us get ready to serve thousands during the holiday season. We would not be here without your continued support!
Remember Just 97 cents will help feed one tired, hungry person.Your 97 cents can feed a hungry person and hopefully start them on the road to recovery.
We are starting this winter season in a very unusual position - our supply of winter coats is almost zero. We have a very few winter coats to give out to the homeless this year. We believe this is related to the economy, where less people are buying new coats for themselves and therefore fewer old coats are available for people to give away. If you have old coats around please help by donating your used winter coats to the Mission, 463 S. 400 West. We want to help keep people warm this winter. Also, we are in great need of disposable razors, so if you have access to any please consider donating. God bless you!
I am blessed to be able to help provide meals, shelter and care to men, women and children in need.
