Bees Announce 2011 Schedule
The Salt Lake Bees have released the team's 144-game schedule for the 2011 Pacific Coast League season. The Bees will begin the franchise's 18th season of play on April 7 at home against the Reno Aces.
Home of the Bees Has New Playing Surface
In anticipation of the 2011 Triple-A All-Star Game, the Salt Lake Bees recently completed installation of a new playing surface at Spring Mobile Ballpark.
Trumbo Named Angels Minor League POY
The Angels announced today that infielder Mark Trumbo has been named the Angels Minor League Player of the Year. Trumbo, a 2010 PCL All-Star, batted .301 with 36 home runs, 122 RBI and 103 runs scored in 139 games with the Bees.
Young Angels Get Good Start to Offseason Work
"Winter ball can be extremely beneficial to any young player trying to make an imprint," Scioscia said. "The caliber of play is challenging, and these guys can learn a lot and fine-tune some things.
