Davis County... Home of the Great Salt Lake
Davis County is one of Utah's most exciting destinations! We are accessible and affordable: Within minutes, you can enjoy a round of golf at one of our nine public courses, hike into the mountains, ski world-class downhill slopes, participate in a buffalo sightseeing safari on Antelope Island, take the family to Lagoon Amusement Park, camp/play at Cherry Hill or just simply enjoy yourself at one of our many restaurants or taverns. Suffice it to say, the opportunities and activities are endless, close to one another and affordable for budget conscious families and meeting planners.

24th Annual Bison Roundup - October 29 - 30, 2010
The public is invited to come and watch the cowboys and cowgirls herd the bison to the corals. Normally, they run up the east side of the island, where you can park your car and watch the activity. The best place is where the prarie narrows between the rock and the road, at a spot just north of the Frary Peak trailhead turn-off.
REMEMBER: these are wild, undomesticated, cranky and ornery animals. Please DO NOT leave the safety of your car, and do not obstruct the animals or those on horseback.
