IME is dedicated to providing the best selection of Rock Climbing, Ice Climbing, Expedition and Backpacking equipment in the United States.
Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, we are in the heart of the best climbing and skiing in the country. (MAP) IME first opened its doors in 1987 and is Utah's oldest and most experienced climbing store. Our experienced staff has helped outfit climbers from the ranges of the Himalayas, Alaska, South America and Africa to the big walls of Yosemite and Zion. We also provide all you could need for a day out to the local crag or bouldering at the gym.
We have a large and continually updated inventory, but in the event we don't have what your looking for, we may be able to order or help locate it for you. Not only do we carry the well known brands but also the smaller specialized equipment which you may have heard of but have not been able to find.
