The Economy Stinks but We Don't Think Pets Should Suffer so We are offering a Christmas Holiday special of 25% off our regular Prices on Neuters, Spays, Declaws and Dentals!!!!!!

Parasites like Round Worms and Heartworms are here in Utah so we recommend a monthly broad spectrum anti-parasite preventative called Heartgard Plus for all Dogs and Cats.

Dental Health is important for Pets too. We do professional cleanings and have a special vaccination and special dental diets that work really well!!!

Exotic pets can be quite a challenge to own but with a good environment and balanced nutrition they can be fun and educational. We love seeing Exotic Pets!!

Welcome to our web site! Pet Stop Veterinary Clinic is a full service clinic providing affordable, quality care to cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and pocket pets for over 25 years. Dr. Matthew Belman is a 1989 graduate of The New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. He has been helping the pets of Utah since graduation and practicing at Pet Stop for 13 years. We are conveniently located in downtown Salt Lake City minutes from the freeway.

At Pet Stop Vet Clinic, we provide for your pet a full range of dental, medical and surgical services including orthopedic, ophthalmological, dermatological, reproductive, nutritional and behavioral consultations. Advanced diagnostic testing including ultrasound is available. For our geriatric pets, we recommend bi-annual checkups early cancer detection and treatment

Spaying and neutering at a young age really helps make our pets better behaved and prevents many health issues as well as pet overpopulation and unnecessary euthanasia.
Declawing cats front claws is best done at an early age for best results and we provide state of the art surgical techniques and pain relief for their comfort and speedy recovery.

Pet Care begins with a healthy start. We recommend that puppies and kittens begin their immunizations at six to eight weeks of age against a variety of diseases prevalent in our area. A series of timed boosters is imperative so your pet develops a strong immune system. Checking puppies and kittens for intestinal parasites is important as well as starting them on a broad spectrum anti-parasite program.
