The Clinton Meeting House was built in 1910 for a Latter Day Saint church and meeting place for the surrounding community. A gym, stage and large kitchen was added in 1943. It is a beautiful example of prarie architecture and captures the charm and elegance of past times. In the past ten years it has been used as a wedding and reception center. Previous to the receptions it was used for seminars and as a dance studio because of the 6000 square feet of hardwood floors.
Resoration is 60% with a new roof, pointing, exterior and interior lighting, resurfaced parking lot, vinyl fencing including landscaping with automatic sprinkler system. The chapel and reception areas are complete.
This 13,900 square foot building sits on a 1.02 acres and is currently zoned commercial. Its sewer, water and secondary water are public.
It is located 30 miles north of Salt Lake City. 2 miles from I-15 on State Highway 37.
Clinton is one of the fastest growing communities in Utah. A quarter mile to the west of a Walmart Super Center, Lowes, Kohls, Albertsons, Starbucks and a major shopping district.
