We use the "No Mess" method of installation. This means we pull out the sliding and fixed panels of the old aluminum window but leave the existing aluminum perimeter frame in place. This is especially important when there is either siding or stucco on the exterior. The new window is put in place, the old frame and space is filled with insulation foam and then an interior matching trim is installed. Then it is finished with a minimal caulk bead (not more than an 1/8"). When we walk away from the job, there is no drywall repair or any paint to touch up. We even clean the glass!
